Filters for treating water coming from quarrying and mining processes.
Automatic filter presses with simultaneous opening and an integrated cycle
The operation of these machines is fully automatic even during the phase of discharging the residual cake. Throughout the filtering operation, there is never any need for the operator to be on site, so the filter can be turned on and then left alone to complete any number of cycles completely unassisted. This important feature makes these machines particularly suitable in the case of frequent filtering cycles, or when you want to avoid the need to have an operator constantly on site to control the machine. These models are widely used in the processing of marble, granite or other stones and in quarrying activities.
General features:
The filters can be made in a variety of versions and using different materials, e.g. painted carbon steel: in this cases, special paints can be applied on request for highly corrosive conditions, such as in the marine environment. stainless steel AISI 304 or 316 coatings can be applied, or the whole filter can be made of stainless steel AISI 304 or 316. All the parts in contact with the product are normally made of stainless steel AISI 304, or AISI 316 on request, or even using plastics such as PP, or with rubber-coated surfaces.
Various structural materials are used for the filtering plates, i.e. plastics (including PP), aluminum alloy, cast iron or stainless steel AISI 304 or 316. With all these options, any structural variant can be produced to meet every customer’s needs, which depend on corrosion issues, particular working temperatures, etc.
All the filters are made in compliance with the most demanding accident prevention standards. These machines can also be made in accordance with the ATEX standards.
